Getting back on the horse- we all do it.

So getting back to it has been really scary, Im not sure why I think I was having a mental block. I was afraid to go back to the gym because I was sure I had lost all of the progress I made. I was making excuses on eating healthy because of my financial state. Finally I said that is enough Grace- get your chunky butt back to that gym and find ways to eat healthy on a budget! I have and I have been going strong for two days; granted it doesn't seem like long but I am proud because I haven't given in to temptation at all. I went to the gym yesterday and I will be going again tonight.

We all have those falling off the wagon times and we know inside our hearts when we are back on, it is just a feeling of motivation and healthfulness. I feel great and I fell happy now, for a month or so I felt depressed and I didn't care about my body any more, I felt like I was in a hole I could not get out of. So my new plan of action is...

Breakfast
snack
lunch
snack
dinner
maybe snack.

It is traditional and I like it. I have been making my food from scratch and boy does it taste good.

I love cooking from scratch, it always taste better and in the long run is much cheaper. There are a ton of sites online that you can get recipes for a budget too :)

  4. Good work, Grace! As for not "gracing" the gym for a while, once you have worked out, your muscles remember. I bet you won't have any trouble getting back in the groove with your good eating plan too. I bet you feel better already.

  7. I always have troubles staying motivated past the first week or two of any workout/diet plan. I tend to switch it up and set different specific goals for myself every few weeks.
    Proud of you! :)
