So I want to be 30 pounds down by my birthday, so hopefully I have lost the rest of my first 20 pounds but I will find out on Wednesday when I weigh in. So I just really want to lose that 30 pounds so bad i can taste it. My mother is coming to visit on my birthday and I want to look damn good. So June 12 is my date, to have dropped 30 pounds. I WANT IT.

Break it up into smaller goals so it's not overwhelming! I remember at 190+ lbs I was overwhelmed at having to lose 60+ lbs by x date. I focused on it on a weekly basis, daily basis, hourly basis! Planning is key too!
ReplyDeleteI aimed for 2 lbs a week, eating healthy home-cooked meals, exercising a minimum of 30 minutes a day, drinking a lot of water and getting plenty of sleep! It really adds up: one day turns to one week, one week turns to one month, and at the end of it you wonder why you waited this long to start :)
You can do it! I agree with Safire,break it down and give yourself mini goals. Good Luck and keep us posted!
